In Fall 2012, the CSESA team hosted 28 focus groups across four states, with 150+ participants who shared their perspectives as adolescents on the spectrum, parents of adolescents with ASD, high school educators in special and general education classrooms, high school administrators, and vocational staff. These valuable perspectives have guided the research team as they work to develop and adapt interventions that will be part of the model.
