Several of our CSESA colleagues presented information about CSESA at the Division of Career Development and Transition (DCDT) Conference in Williamsburg, VA in November. High School Program for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorder

The Center on Secondary Education for Students with ASD (CSESA) is an IES-funded project to develop a comprehensive intervention model for high school students with ASD. Participants will gain knowledge of the social skill, transition planning, and family education and support components.

Supporting Adolescents with ASD in the General Education Setting: Perspectives from Stakeholders on the Transition Process

The successful transition to postsecondary settings is challenging for students with ASD. This session explores the unique experiences for high school students in general education classrooms as they navigate the transition process. Focus group data from stakeholders across four states will be presented as well as recommendations for practice
