Presentation at Ocalicon 2013 in Columbus, Ohio
This presentation provides an overview of the newly funded Center on Secondary Education for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (CSESA). This multi-site research and development center will develop and rigorously evaluate a school- and community-based comprehensive treatment model for high school students with ASD. Key findings from the intervention development phase are summarized and applied to developing the full program consisting of 5 components: professional development, academics, independence & behavior, peer and social competence, and transition & families.
